Get to Know Dr. Kellie Michaels

Dr. Michaels was first drawn to dentistry because it combined problem-solving with the opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives. As she progressed through her dental career, she became increasingly drawn to the precision and technical skill required in endodontics. She finds it incredibly rewarding to help patients relieve their pain and preserve their natural teeth through root canal therapy.

Dr. Michaels received her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She then continued her education at Jacobi Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center, where she completed a General Practice Residency. She stayed for a second year at Jacobi and served as Chief Resident. She was then accepted into Endodontic Residency at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Hospital - a highly prestigious endodontic program - where she also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Michaels is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.

Dr. Michaels grew up just outside of Cleveland, Ohio, and spent four years in Boston for dental school. She loves making trips back to Ohio to visit family and traveling along the East Coast to spend time with friends. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring New York City with her husband and their dog, Bess, who they bring along on as many adventures as possible!
